June 2, 2023, Prime Minister of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki visited Canada. He was hosted by Canada’s Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau. The visit was short but very productive and allowed to cover political, economic and social aspects. PM Morawiecki held various meetings with Canadian politicians, visited OPG’s Darlington Nuclear Project site, met with Polonia businesses and organizations and visited Roncesvalles Neighbourhood including Katyn Monument.

Representatives of Canada-Poland Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Board of Advisors and business members had a chance to participate in various aspects of the visit, including a lunch hosted by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Toronto.

This visit is an indication of strengthening Canada-Poland relations and we look forward to further announcements about new initiatives and greater co-operation between the countries and its businesses.
