On May 1, 2026, Canada-Poland Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual Excellence Awards Gala at Clubhouse EventSpace in Toronto, bringing together members, business leaders, government officials, community representatives and guests for an evening of recognition, networking and celebration.
Held at the beginning of Polish Heritage Month, the Gala recognized individuals, businesses and organizations for their achievements and contributions to the Canadian economy, the Polish-Canadian community and Canada-Poland business relations.
The evening included greetings from government and community representatives, followed by the presentation of the 2026 Excellence Awards across nine categories.
2026 Excellence Award recipients:
- Executive of the Year 2026 – Andrew Opala
- Excellence in Advanced Technology – WDI Wise Device Inc.
- Canada-Poland Trade and Investment Leader of the Year 2026 – Todd Smith
- Excellence in Financial Services – Bond Consulting Group
- Excellence in Legal Services – Pace Law Firm
- Excellence in Community Leadership – Polish Highlanders Association of Canada
- Rising Legal Leader of the Year 2026 – Jessica Jakubowski
- Sports Leader of the Year 2026 – Ryan Rozicki
- Arts Champion of the Year 2026 – Wojtek Gawenda
The Gala also provided an opportunity for guests from across the business, professional and community sectors to reconnect, develop new relationships and celebrate the accomplishments of the Polish-Canadian community.
Canada-Poland Chamber of Commerce extends its congratulations to all 2026 Excellence Award recipients and thanks our members, guests, sponsors and partners for their continued support.
