September 7, 2023, Milton, Ontario. Two of our business members, Grit Online and Transworld Business Advisors of Ontario, sponsored and participated in 2023 Nordic Consular Cup Golf Tournament. The board of the Chamber was represented by Waldemar Halek, President and Stephen Klus, Executive Vice President. It was a great opportunity to join and support an event organized by other European Union Chambers of Commerce in Canada.
This was a full day event. After morning showers, the weather co-operated for the rest of the day. Registration started at 11.30am, followed by lunch and then shot gun at 1.30pm. 18-holes were completed over the following five hours with the best ball rules for play. Cocktail hour, dinner and awards ceremony followed. Danish Canadian Chamber of Commerce members took most prizes along with the overall team prize.
