On November 19, 2025, Canada-Poland Chamber of Commerce held its Bi-Annual General Meeting of Members at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Toronto.
The meeting was opened with remarks by Consul General Marek Ciesielczuk and was attended by members of the Consulate staff and fellow consuls, highlighting the strong relationship between the Chamber and the diplomatic community.
The meeting included the election of a new Board of Directors for the upcoming term. Members elected a seven-person Board consisting of Michael Miasek, President; Waldemar Halek, Vice President; Arthur Krzycki, Treasurer; Alexandra Cole, Secretary; and Directors Stephen Klus, Kris Manitius, Ania Krosinska, Adriana Pecio, and Monica Bujalska.
In addition, Committee Heads were appointed to form the Chamber’s executive team. The following appointments were confirmed: Margaret Bonikowska, Media Committee; Margaret Zarzycka, Events Committee; Jack Smagala, Membership Committee; and Monika Bujalska, Stakeholders Relationships Committee.
The formal meeting was followed by a wine and cheese reception, providing members and invited guests with an opportunity to connect in a relaxed setting. The evening reinforced the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to strong governance, member engagement, and the continued development of business and community ties between Canada and Poland.
